The Venue

A classic CBD pub with a Mexican influence, El Loco at Slip Inn specialises in tantalising tequila cocktails and mouth-watering Mexican food. A local for the CBD corporate crowd where they enjoy casual after-work drinks upstairs in the main pub area or downstairs in our outdoor garden courtyard.

In addition to El Loco, Slip Inn is home to one of the biggest, longest running clubs in Sydney, Chinese Laundry. Laundry serves up the hottest DJ’s from around the country and draws a pumping crowd every single weekend.

The Role

We are on the hunt for a stand-out Operations Manager who is a strong leader with experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments. Come and join the ranks of one of our most iconic and successful Sydney hospitality venues.

In this role, you will need to:

• Be ultimately accountable for aspects of your venue's P&L.
• Understand how to deliver exemplary guest experience. This incredible venue will feel warm and welcoming with a casual tone of engagement. Underpinned by knowledgeable, professional execution.
• Lead and coach a diverse team of people.  Ensuring that team culture is guest focused, community led, and sales driven.
• Drive the financial results of the department.  Be sales focused, create and lead the team to execute revenue initiatives. Demonstrate proven results in the management of financial controls.
• Have passion for product.
• Establish a healthy working environment for the team – enjoyable, educational, results focused and respectful.
• Be responsible for developing the skills of the staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships.
