The Role

Work with an experienced management team to deliver a diverse and authentic experience for our guests. Our focus is ensuring the guest experience is second to none, we love our locals and regulars, so it is important for us to create a community within our team and venue. We are looking for someone who is committed to embedding themselves in the team and venue, connecting authentically with the community.

As a Manager at Merivale, your focus will be on:

• Leading day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring operational excellence across team performance, guest experience, and product quality.
• Building, developing and engaging high-performing teams through effective people leadership.
• Developing team capability across product knowledge and service standards to consistently exceed guest expectations and business objectives.
• Creating a vibrant, welcoming environment while maintaining exceptional venue presentation standards at all times.
• Ensuring all regulatory compliance to governing bodies and Merivale's policies and procedures.
• Supporting the seamless execution of events and group bookings.
• Managing financial controls, including labour, revenue, cogs and venue performance.
