The Venue

Situated on Level 4 of the Iconic Establishment building you’ll find two of Sydney's most exclusive and premium venues.

Out of the lift, turn left and you’ll be greeted by a host of sushi e – It’s here you’ll enjoy a display of age-old techniques as our chefs prepare each dish in front of you with precision and flair. Every ingredient is hand-selected, to ensure only the very best arrives on your plate. The attention to detail extends to the curated sake list and service creating the sushi e experience.

Turn right and you’re amidst the dimly lit opulence of Hemmesphere. Exotically furnished with low, comfortable lounges and a candlelit terrace.  The attentive, personalised table service and decadent drinks menu create the perfect setting for guests to settle in for the night.

The Role

We are looking for an incredibly talented and experienced Venue Manager who will drive performance and continue to strive for excellence. This position will suit an established hospitality professional, experienced in managing high-end venues with an emphasis on VIP, luxury offerings.

Reporting directly to the General Manager of the Establishment precinct, you will be leading from the front and setting standards high, managing each space from end to end, and ensuring a smooth operation of all moving parts across the venue. 

As the Venue Manager you are the backbone of our business and It's your job to ensure that you maintain the highest level or service, most importantly every one of our customers receives an experience that'll leave them yearning for more.

Your focus will be on the following:

• Leading from the front, ensuring your team understand what exceptional looks like every day.
• Accountability for day-to-day operations and business performance.
• Up-skilling and developing each team member specifically around premium product knowledge and service standards.
• People practices such as recruitment, employee engagement, training, and development.
• Finding growth opportunities, activation, and delivery.
• Effective financial management around COGS, sales budgets and profits.
