Systems Administrator | Merivale

At Merivale, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do – from iconic venues to unforgettable guest experiences. We're looking for a Systems Administrator to join our Sales and Events Team. Playing a vital role as the owner of Merivales event Systems Momentus and Event Hub.

This role is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, optimisation, and regular updates of these platforms, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the department and the broader business. 

The Role:

• Administer, maintain, and manage upgrades and integrations across key systems including Momentus (Ungerboeck), Event Hub, and other relevant associated platforms.
• Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of critical functions such as revenue reporting, seasonal menu updates, pricing, and integration of new features or systems ensuring the maintenance of up-to-date system content.
• Develop and maintain user dashboards and layouts to assist in data visualisation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales & Events, Technology, Finance, and other Merivale departments.
• Identify trends and recurring issues and provide recommendations to reduce technical problems and improve reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to maintain compliance with financial processes across systems, including the setup of payment types, refunds, transfers and other relevant financial adjustments.

Ideally you have:

• 2 years in a System administration role, with previous experience in another IT role.
• A passion for the events/hospitality industry.
• Strong Stakeholder management skills, being able to work across multiple teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with proven attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
