The Venue

Jimmys Falafel, is the ultimate twist on a traditional Lebanese eatery, with a menu inspired by all corners of the middle east, including Egypt, Israel and Lebanon. It's a place to hang out, share plates and chat ‘til late. Headed up by chef Simon Zalloua, guests can enjoy a vegetarian-friendly menu with a range of flavour-packed plates and pitas, alongside plenty of legumes, vegetables and dishes from a charcoal grill. Order a round of drinks and make yourself at home, were all friends here.

 

The unique design of Jimmys is essentially an open space split in two; a takeaway eatery from the kiosk at the front, or a more personalised dining experience as you head inside to the bar for a mezze style service.

 

The Role

We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Sous to join the team. If you can bring the following to the kitchen then we would like to talk to you:

  • 3+ years’ experience in relevant position
  • Organised and professional manner
  • Knowledge around Middle Eastern cuisine ideal but not essential
  • Passion for food and the guest experience
  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume venue and can deliver consistency
  • Can manage a team of 20 + chefs and work closely with the head chef to deliver on financials and menu development
