The Role:

Behind the scenes of these memorable venues lies a solid Technology team to keep all things tech-based running smoothly. From Point of sales systems to servers it is this team’s job to keep everything fighting fit.

We are currently searching for an excellent Senior Cloud Engineer to help our continued migration from physical centres into the cloud., who can help maintain optimal operational efficiency of the technology Architecture at Merivale. This includes all cloud platforms, data centre and on-premises technology infrastructure.

You are accountable for:

• Providing effective leadership and development of the System Administrators and guidance to the broader technology team and the business, as an active Technology function senior
• Effective delivery of cloud services, including both technical and commercial performance
• Progress the continued transition from on-premise infrastructure to appropriate cloud services and the closure of Merivale data centre facilities at the appropriate time
• The design and implementation of key cyber security controls for cloud and physical infrastructure
• Lead with the continuous maturing of processes under the ITIL framework

Ideally you are:

• Have been working for 10+ years in technology, spanning across bot infrastructure and engineering.
• Extensive experience partnering withing a businesses to achieve impactful outcomes.
• Strong scripting and infrastructure automation background is highly desirable
• Have a working knowledge and experience with Azure cloud services (AWS and GCP desirable)
• Fully competent in Microsoft 365 security and Azure Management, including virtual machine, networking and migration experience.
