Sales Manager | Merivale

The Role

Merivale is on the lookout for a Sales Manager to join our high-performing team. This role will proactively identify and convert opportunities across Merivale’s diverse portfolio of venues and event spaces.

Working alongside a team of passionate sales professionals, you’ll be responsible for both managing inbound enquiries and driving new business through strategic outreach.

Your day will look like the following:

  • Responding to and converting incoming leads while building strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Understanding and contributing to key revenue targets by identifying and capitalising on sales opportunities
  • Developing persuasive approaches and pitches to potential clients to do business with Merivale.
  • Responsible for driving commercial and corporate partnerships between Merivale Events, Stadiums and external stakeholders.
  • Hosting venue tours at the stadiums with clients and potential clients to develop new business.
  • Actively sourcing new leads through networking, industry events, and business development initiatives
  • Collaborating closely with Event Managers to deliver seamless handovers and exceptional guest experiences

 

Essentials

May not necessarily be an event professional but ideally have the following.

  • 4 + Years experience in Sales, events or operations.
  • An understanding and passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Proven tactical sales skills as well as high attention to detail.
  • Hunger to convert business and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
