The Venue


Lorraine's Patisserie is the gorgeous retail patisserie shop located on the corner of Palings Lane within the ivy complex. The intimate store features an open pastry kitchen where the famous Lorraine Godsmark and her small team of chefs bake throughout the day creating a range of delectable tarts, cakes, pastries, and slices available for take away. The deliciously decadent aroma of freshly baked lemon meringue, raspberry pecan cake and banana bread wafting through Palings Lane and into Ash Street is near impossible to resist.



  • Experience working in a patisserie or pastry kitchen
  • Working in a small team doing production
  • Someone that can assist senior pastry chefs in pastry preparation
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Someone that is happy to serve and interact with customers
  • Good communication and presentation (this is a very open kitchen)


This is a full-time position, working Tuesday – Saturday. This role will be ideal for someone that is looking to gain more experience in a patisserie kitchen and enhance their pastry knowledge, someone that can produce the same consistence each time.
