Human Resources Advisor | Merivale

We're looking for a People Experience Advisor (Human Resources) to play a vital role in supporting our employees and ensuring smooth, efficient and people practices across the employee lifecycle. 

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on detail, values discretion, and genuinely cares about the employee experience. You’ll be a trusted go-to for our team, supporting key PX processes, ensuring compliance, and helping drive continuous improvement across our People function. 

 

The role 

  • Employee Lifecycle - Coordinating employee lifecycle administration including variations, employment letters and employee file management.  

  • Advisory & Coordination - Managing the People Operations inbox, responding to employment queries, policy, award, or process queries.  

  • Employee Relations - Provide confidential and sensitive support during employee relations matters, including note-taking, documentation and file management. 

  • People Partnering & Change - Partner with teams across the People function, including Talent, Academy and Systems & Services, to ensure seamless delivery and support. 

  • Assist in delivering engagement and recognition initiatives. 

  • Provide administration, coordination office support to the broader People Operations team. Managing team meeting minutes, drafting agendas and internal communications as required. 

 

Essentials  

  • Previous experience in fast paced HR environments. 

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. 

  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information. 

  • Clear and confident communicator with a can-do, collaborative mindset. 

  • Comfortable with systems and reporting tools.   

  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to work.
