Head of Marketing & Brand Partnerships | Merivale

We’re seeking a Head of Marketing and Brand Partnership to lead the strategic direction, performance and impact of our marketing function – spanning brand, growth, partnerships and team capability. 

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded and people-driven marketing leader to help shape how our brand connects with millions of guests every year. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the business to ensure our marketing is tightly aligned with commercial priorities – and you’ll guide a high-performing team of Senior Creative & Marketing Leaders to deliver results. 

 

The Role 

Strategic Leadership 

  • Lead the development of integrated marketing strategies across brand, digital and partnerships to drive growth and guest engagement. 

  • Translate business goals into clear marketing priorities, workstreams and outcomes. 

  • Lead and coach the team, ensuring alignment, empowerment, and accountability across portfolios. 

  • Collaborate with the Group Head of Marketing and senior stakeholders to shape team direction, resourcing and capability development. 

Team Development & Capability Building 

  • Collaborate with the Group Head of Marketing and senior stakeholders to shape team direction, resourcing and capability development. Fostering a performance-driven culture with clear development pathways. 

  • Champion our business partnership model – embedding marketing leaders within venue, events, music and people teams. 

  • Build a high-performing, agile marketing team with strong capability in stakeholder influence, data-led planning and campaign execution. 

  • Proactively identify and recruit top marketing talent to complement and extend the team’s strengths. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner with senior leaders across operations, beverage, events and HQ functions to ensure alignment with commercial goals. 

  • Oversee major cross-functional marketing initiatives – with shared ownership, clear objectives and strong execution. 

  • Act as a key integrator across teams – improving consistency, reducing duplication and creating operational efficiency. 

Innovation & Insight-Driven Marketing 

  • Lead innovation in campaign strategy, guest engagement and partnerships – exploring new formats and platforms. 

  • Evolve how we measure marketing ROI, map guest journeys and plan across audience segments and experiences using guest data insights. 

 

Essentials 

  • 10+ years’ experience in senior marketing leadership roles across brand, digital and commercial marketing. 

  • Proven success leading and developing large, high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced environments. 

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align marketing strategy with business outcomes. 

  • Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment or retail sectors is ideal. 

  • Passion for innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. 

  • Exceptional communication, influence and stakeholder management skills.
