Located in the CBD, weekday lunches are fast, high-volume and time-sensitive, creating a buzzing service that our chefs thrive on.

The Role
A rare opportunity to lead a high-performing kitchen within one of Merivale’s busiest venues, working closely with Exec Chef Dan Hong.

We’re looking for a proven Head Chef (3+ years) with experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments, confident operating at a senior level while staying close to the pass.

  • Lead, develop and inspire a team of 15+ chefs
  •  Own menu creation and evolve a diverse, high-volume offering (Thai + pub classics)
  • Drive consistency, speed and quality across all service periods
  • Partner with senior stakeholders on food direction and performance
  • Be hands-on in service while leading from the front
  • Manage financial performance — food cost, labour and forecasting
  • Build a strong, engaged and high-performing kitchen culture
