Graphic Designer | Merivale
The Role
Merivale is after a Graphic Designer to join our creative team, working across our portfolio of different brands. You will conceptualise, develop and deliver creative communications and guest campaigns for the Merivale master brand and network of venues. The role will be a part of the Marketing & Creative department, reporting into the Head of Brand. You will be working closely with key stakeholders across the wider business, creatively bringing to life guest first initiatives to deliver against business and partner outcomes. This is one of the most exciting areas of our business!
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Respond to briefs to conceptualise and develop Merivale and venue communications for guests and partner activations across a variety of channels
- Uphold and champion the Merivale master brand guidelines and venue guidelines across all creative outputs Create detailed and impressive templates, creative resources and presentations.
- Manage projects end-to-end, often working on multiple projects at once.
- Design assets that are highly creative to create cut through with our staff and recruitment audience
- Work with a range of budgets and time constraints.
- Work collaboratively with the creative team to create eye-catching and memorable creative
- Work collaboratively with different functions of the business
- Present creative ideas to relevant stakeholders to gain buy in to the creative idea
- Overarching creative responsibilities include; presentation decks, finished art, conceptualising ideas, leading design decision making, leading insights on trends, articulating creative strategy, print production, animation foundations and retouching.
You are:
- Very strong design skills with an elevated and fresh aesthetic.
- Proven excellence at designing and conceptualising, delivering successful campaigns in agency or design studio experience.
- A keen eye and attention to detail, perfectionism and a passion for design and creativity.
- Understanding of channel mix and the role of creative in channels
- Excellent typographic skills and eye for composition.
- Relevant experience working on fashion, retail, lifestyle and hospitality brands.
- Willingness to roll your sleeves up --– working end-to-end from inception to roll-out.
- Team player with a collaborative approach – we’re a close-knit team that constantly discuss and share our work for feedback.
- Exceptional organisational skills and diligence meeting deadlines.
- Skills in animation/motion/illustration are a bonus.
- Proficient in industry-standard software like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or Sketch
- Around 3+ years relevant experience
