The Venue

Dimly lit, The Royal George has an easy warmth and old-world charm that makes it a great place to relax and share some classic pub food over a pint or 2 with friends. The menu includes hard staples like pan-roasted salmon, chicken schnitzel and daily pasta specials, as well as tasty salads and burgers. Reminiscent of a rustic English pub with dark timber finishes, black leather Chesterfield lounges and a mounted deer head.

 

The Role

If you love working in a pub and enjoy the buzz of a fast-paced lunch and dinner service, then this could be the role for you. The pub is closed on Sundays and its peak times are the office lunchtime rush and after-work beer session. We are looking for someone with the following experience and attributes:

  • 2-3 years experience in pubs or restaurants.
  • Calm under pressure and can work in a small space and own a service.
  • Good work ethic, attitude and communication.
  • Able to manage a section and junior chefs.
