The Venue  

In 2019, Dan, Justin and a bunch of chefs went on an epic, multi-stop trip to Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Vietnam. MuMu’s menu is inspired by everything they ate along the way. From a selection of sambal with krupuk, wok-fried king prawns and a bunch of drinks option including the famous yuzu slushee, MuMu is an inner-city hangout spot set within the ivy precinct. It is the perfect place to drink, dance, and burn the midnight oil. 
    

The Role  

We are looking for full time and casual Commis, Chef De Parties, and Pastry Chefs to join the kitcen team at MuMu. As a chef for MuMu, you’ll get to work with an amazing team to brings together the playfulness of dishes like Hokkaido scallop prawn roll, char siu chicken, Vietnamese-styled pippies and more.  

If you have experience and a passion for South-East Asian cuisine this could be the next role for you. 

 

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar high-end restaurant. 

  • Asian cooking experience is preferred, even better if you have worked in wok section. 

  • Follows direction well, good communication and execution. 

  • Thrive in a busy environment 

  • Can manage a section and train junior staff as a CDP 

  • Attention to detail and execution
