The Venue 

El Loco is lively, loud and proud of it. A cantina based in the CBD, combining food, fun and friends for the ultimate Mexican fiesta - is now looking for a strong chef to join the ranks!  

The El Loco menu at Slip Inn includes a range of mouth-watering dishes, including Mexican-style Quesabirria, Burrito Bowl, D.I.Y Tacos, El Frederioko Hot Dog, as well as dishing up the fan favourite tacos. 

 

The Role 

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie who wants to join this fun and dynamic team on a casual basis. This is a great opportunity to step up in your career, if you:  

  • Have similar experience in a fast-paced kitchen  

  • Have some knowledge of Mexican food 

  • Provide consistent quality to the food and work practices  

  • Can ideally manage a section and train junior chefs 

  • Professional and organised with good communication
