The Role 

Playing an integral part in the events kitchen team at Ivy, our full time Chef de Parties work collaboratively with the senior team and rely on top communication skills to ensure that their section and the team are ready and that the event runs smoothly. Assisting others, maintaining high levels of presentation, incorporating safe food handling practices and always being up for a challenge are all parts of what your daily duties will include.   

To be successful in this team our ideal candidate has: 

  • 2 to 3+ years’ experience cooking in high-end kitchens, hotels, banquets or events kitchen  

  • Adaptability and a keen eye for detail 

  • The ability to organise your own section and guide junior chefs  

  • Good communication, organisation and time management skills. 

  • Knowledge around different cuisines and cooking techniques
