The Role
Behind the scenes of these memorable venues lies a solid Technology team to keep all things tech-based running smoothly. From Point of sales systems to business-critical applications, it is this team’s job to keep everything fighting fit.
We are searching for a Technology Business Analyst to join our team. Acting as the intermediary between end-users and Technology Teams to ensure that business and user requirements are delivered in fit-for-purpose solutions.
This role is responsible for:
- Meeting with user groups to identify, gather and analyse end user requirements.
- Developing use cases, gap analysis, requirements, and functional specifications that design and document the desired outcome of system enhancement/development.
- Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of system enhancement/development.
- Preparing material and providing assistance to end-users
- Working as a crucial component of a project team and a key conduit between Technology and Business teams.
As an ideal candidate you will have:
- 5 + years of technology experience, with 3 + years of experience in a similar Business Analyst role (Preferably within hospitality/retail)
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, and solid understanding of the systems/software development life cycle.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of data analytics, data warehouse and database concepts, point of sale systems, and business critical systems within finance, sales, procurement and inventory.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service focus.
- A love of the hospitality industry.
