The Venue

Ash St. Cellar is a European wine bar, in the heart of Sydney's CBD. Open Monday to Friday, from 7:30am for your breakfast meeting or lunch catch-up. Also the perfect spot for a relaxed glass of wine, European-inspired tapas and Sydney's best people watching.

 

Head chef Jake Ahrens creates European-inspired tapas with French, Italian and Spanish influences at this modern-style wine bar. Our wine list is curated by Franck Moreau, Merivale's award-winning master sommelier. This venue is busy & dynamic with buzzing services throughout the whole day. Providing an outstanding guest experience is at the core of everything we do. 

 

The Role

We are on the look-out for an amazing Bar Team Leader to continue to drive the success of this venue. The role suits an all-rounder with experience with wine, cocktails and restaurant service. Your focus will be to drive the team to deliver outstanding customer service, to maintain a high-performance culture and to contribute to the operational effectiveness of the venue. There will be the chance to influence the beverage offering and to grow in the role. A minimum of 2 years bartending experience in a similar environment with previous leadership experience also being highy favourable and a desire to inspire a team is a must to be successful in this role.
