The Role

Merivale is after a full-time People Services Coordinator to join our People Experience Team. Working with various systems and processes, this is a highly administrative role in a busy environment with daily deadlines, requiring a high attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Facilitate the smooth transition of candidates to employees through data entry and query management, ensuring a seamless experience at every step.
  • Create and manage contracts for new starters, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Accurately manage new employee data, ensuring compliance checks are completed.
  • Provide administrative support across various stages of the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistency and efficiency in all processes.
  • Support the weekly payroll administration by assisting the payroll team with accurate and timely processing, data entry and reporting as required.
  • Support the wider People Experience Team in various initiatives when required.
  • Key systems include SAP SuccessFactors and DocuSign.

 

About you:

 

  • Previous payroll or HRIS system experience isn’t required although a desire to learn, follow processes and deliver high quality work is key to success in this role.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Thrive in a high-volume and highly confidential environment.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally across all levels of internal stakeholders.
  • Have a love for the hospitality industry.
