The Venue
Excelsior is lively, loud, and proud of it. This El Loco brand is offered as Excelsior in Surry Hills. This cantina combines food, fun and friends for the ultimate Mexican fiesta.
The El Loco menu includes a range of mouth-watering dishes, including Mexican-style beef brisket burger, quesabirria, El Frederiko hot dog, as well as dishing up the fan favourite tacos. The venue is popular with after work drinks and grabbing a bite to eat, with happy hour running Monday-Friday and Taco Tuesday.
The Role
We are looking for a Commis chef who can work independently in the hot section. This is a great opportunity to step up in your career.
- 2 years' similar experience in hot section (Grills/Planchas/Fryer)
- Available to work a few late-night shifts per week (Until 2 am OR 3 am)
- Has a love of Mexican food.
- Passion for good food and keeping consistency.
- Professional and with good communication and management skills.
