Excelsior is lively, loud and proud of it. This El Loco brand is offered as Excelsior in Surry Hills. This cantina combines food, fun and friends for the ultimate Mexican fiesta.

The El Loco menu includes a range of mouth-watering dishes, including Mexican-style beef brisket burger, quesabirria, El Frederiko hot dog, as well as dishing up the fan favourite tacos. The venue is popular with after work drinks and grabbing a bite to eat, with happy hour running Monday-Friday and Taco Tuesday.

 

The Role

 

We are looking for a Chef de Partie who can work independently in the hot section. This is a great opportunity to step up in your career.

  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen and a love of Mexican food
  • Provide consistent quality to the food and work practices
  • Can ideally manage a section and guide junior staff
  • Passion for good food and some knowledge around Mexican flavors
  • Professional and organised with good communication
