The Role

This role will suit a passionate and experienced beverage-driven professional, who truly understands what being hands-on means!

At Merivale, our people are at the forefront of everything we do and the key to our success. Coming into the business as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will have the opportunity to express both your creativity as well as your organisational, communication, and people skills.

 

Your focus will be on developing your people and building an incredible team with a strong culture, as well as taking them on the journey of training and development to upskill them around product knowledge, service standards, and how to create a magical guest experience.

 

We are looking for experienced Managers who have:

 

  • Experience managing large teams of bartenders and bar team leaders.
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment, overseeing multiple operations.
  • Exceptional product knowledge and ability to drive consistency and excellence.
  • Influencing, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Business and operational acumen.
  • Knowledge and skills to develop staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture, and guest relationships.
