The Venue

Located on Oxford Street, The Paddington is a multi-level venue that blends the character of a classic pub with the energy of a modern restaurant and cocktail bar. Each space has its own distinct style, creating a lively destination for everything from casual drinks to long, relaxed dinners.

The kitchen is led by executive chef Ben Greeno, whose menu centres around custom-built rotisseries that take pride of place in the open kitchen. The signature Bannockburn chickens — hormone-free and air-chilled — are slowly roasted until juicy with crisp, golden, sticky skin, redefining the humble roast chicken.

The Role

We are after an energetic and experienced Venue Manager with a focus on creating a strong team culture, one that celebrates cultural diversity, and is passionate about creating an authentic and traditional experience for their guests.

You’ll be expected to build, lead and develop a diverse team, maintain a culture that strives for excellence, deliver exceptional guest experience, and have fun along the way. You’ll provide ongoing training to the team through product knowledge and be focused on establishing an effective operation rhythm across the venue.

• Strong operators with focus on delivering high standards and exceptional product
• Hands-on and operational
• Experts at stakeholder management
• Responsible for developing the skills of the staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships
• Experienced in managing large teams in a high-volume atmosphere; 2+ years in hospitality management is essential
