We are looking for a creative, hands-on Sous Chef to join this vibrant team. You’ll support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food, mentoring the kitchen team, and ensuring every dish reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and seasonal produce. If you are passionate about innovative cooking, collaboration, and crafting memorable dining experiences, Charlie Parker’s is the place for you. 

The Role

This is the perfect position for someone that has a creative flare but also wants to learn new techniques and really own the bar snack menu. Think braised octopus, wood-fired flatbread and zucchini & eggplant panzanella. We are looking for a Sous Chef that can bring:

  • A passion for creative and new dishes
  • Has at least 2+ years’ experience in a sous chef position.
  • Good communication and presentation as you will be working in a very open kitchen with guest interaction occurring.
  • Experience in a wine bar or high-end restaurant.
  • Has a good understanding of P&L’s and can train junior chefs and encourage them to be the best. 
  • Work alongside the head chef to lead the team, drive the product forward, and manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
