Next door to Fred's, Charlie Parker's and The Paddington, Jimmy’s brings bold Middle Eastern flavours, incredible cocktails, a basement bar and rooftop private dining to one of Sydney’s most exciting hospitality precincts.

Led by Executive Chef Simon Zalloua, this is your opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen with a strong team culture and serious momentum.

The Role

As Senior Sous Chef, you will be a key member of the kitchen leadership team, working closely with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to drive standards, develop the brigade and deliver exceptional service.

You will lead from the front during service, mentor and inspire junior chefs, and help foster a positive, high-performance kitchen culture. This is an opportunity for a strong leader who thrives in busy services and is ready to play a significant role in the continued success of one of Sydney's most exciting restaurant openings.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef, or an accomplished Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing chefs.
  • Experience working in high-volume, quality-driven restaurant environments.
  • A calm and organised approach during fast-paced services.
  • High standards around consistency, presentation and execution.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
  • A genuine passion for food, hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • The drive to contribute to a positive kitchen culture and help build a successful team.
