Executive chef Jordan Toft’s coastal European menu has something for every occasion. Guests can order a light meal from the bar menu or dine in our restaurant. Bert’s seasonally changing menu has something for everyone from oysters, caviar, dressed crab or crudo. Moving to mains select live lobster from the tank, or whole fish, beef, poultry or pork that’s either roasted in the charcoal oven or over the Basque grills.

The Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join Bert’s as the Restaurant Manager.

We are looking for someone driven and motivated, focused on driving business performance, who can build, develop and lead a high performing team, and most importantly someone who has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences that are second to none. 

As a Restaurant Manager you will be expected to constantly look for ways to improve, bringing ideas and initiatives to the table as well as motivating and driving the venue to success.

A day in the life of a Restaurant Manager will look like:

 

  • Having a strong focus on delivering high standards and exceptional product.
  • Leading from the front, ensuring your team understand what exceptional looks like everyday.
  • Hands-on and operational.
  • Understanding and owning your financials. Be a numbers person and challenge revenue driving opportunities.
  • Developing the skills of the staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships.
  • Managing day to day operations with sophistication and passion.
