The Venue
Reopening early 2026, The Whale is Merivale’s newly reimagined 19 key coastal retreat in the heart of Narooma, NSW. Perched above Wagonga Inlet with sweeping ocean views, the property features retro inspired guest rooms, a penthouse with rooftop garden, a heated magnesium pool, wellness facilities (sauna + ice bath), lush landscaping and firepit areas. The adjoining restaurant, Queen Chow, will also reopen with a fresh coastal take on its beloved Cantonese dishes.
The Roles
As we prepare to reopen this remarkable South Coast destination, we’re assembling a management team that will set the benchmark for guest experience, operational excellence, and an exceptional team culture. We are seeking experienced, inspiring, and hands-on hospitality leaders across:
