The Venue 

Merivale has changed the face of stadium food to deliver a fresh and exciting hospitality experience to Sydney’s key stadiums – the SCG and Allianz Stadium (SFS). Across both stadiums, we host some of Sydney’s biggest events including major sporting events and concerts performed by leading international artists. For this, we have pulled together an army of top Merivale talent, including executive chefs Jordan Toft, Dan Hong, Mike Eggert, Ben Greeno and Vincenzo Biondini. During your next visit to the SCG or SFS, expect a wide range of Merivale favourites, including Queen Chow, Totti’s, Vinnie’s Pizza, Jimmy’s Falafel wraps, and many more. 

The Roles

Retail 

We are looking for Full-Time Chef de Partie to work in the retail spaces across both stadiums, dishing up some of Merivale’s favourites such as Jimmy’s Falafel wraps, El Loco tacos, Queen Chow noodles and dumplings and more. As this is a grab and go setting so having experience with fast-paced service is essential. Working in the outlets will give you the flexibility to move around and work with variety.  

Restaurants  

We are looking for Casual Chef de Parties to work across the stadium’s exclusive restaurants, including Bert’s Bistro, Totti’s, The Café, and more, delivering high-quality culinary experiences for members. This is a fast-paced environment with a high level of exectuition required.

We are looking for the following experience:

• 2 years' experience working in a similar role in a busy restaurant, pub or bistro.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Lead a kiosk or section and train junior chefs. 
• Have experience on the grill, pan or fryer section. 
• Happy to work in a large team, fast-paced kitchen and follow directions well. 
• Be organised, efficient and a good communicator.
• Knowledge around different cuisines and techniques ideal but not essential.

You will need to be availbale to work across weekends and weekdays in both roles, especially on game and event days.
