The Venue

Welcome to Coogee Pavilion, or as the locals call it ‘The Pav’. Made up of three floors, the venue offers a range of dining experiences. The Ground Floor delivers casual dining, from fresh oysters and wood-fired pizza to family-friendly meals. The kitchens operate at scale while maintaining quality and consistency, offering exposure to high-volume service, premium produce and well-structured systems.

The Role

We are looking for full-time Commis Chef to join the teams on the Ground Floor. This role suits developing chefs who enjoy working in large teams and thrive in fast-paced kitchen environments.

  • Previous experience working in a professional kitchen as a Commis Chef
  • A genuine interest in food and a willingness to learn across different sections of the kitchen.
  • Ability to follow direction, maintain standards and work efficiently during service.
