Casual Chef | Coogee Rooftop

The Venue 

Walk straight off the beach into this light filled paradise, ideal for family get-together's, coffee dates or simply catching up with friends. Downstairs offers everything from wood-fired pizzas to the freshest oysters and sashimi. Venture upstairs to the Rooftop for that perfect sunset destination, overlooking spectacular ocean views, where you can enjoy some Middel Eastern food whilst sipping on a cocktail. 

The Role 

We are on the hunt for a casual chef to join the team at Jimmy’s Rooftop at Coogee Pavilion. We are looking for either a Commis, Demi or CDP for this position. This is a busy venue, and you will be working in an open-style kitchen. We are looking for someone that can bring: 

• 1-2 years’ experience in a casual or bistro style restaurant 

• Good communication and attitude 

• Good knife skills and can work during a busy service 

• Experience doing Middle Eastern food is desirable, but we can teach you
