Social Media Specialist | Merivale

We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to execute social media strategies across our key platforms, driving brand awareness, customer engagement and community growth.

 

This role will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver cohesive, impactful campaigns, while overseeing the planning, delivery, tracking and reporting of social media activity.

 

Responsibilities include

  • Manage a portfolio of Merivale’s social accounts, upholding each brand’s strategic direction, evergreen content output and community management.
  • Managing the content calendar, ensuring consistent, frequent and on-brand posting that aligns with the overarching brand and business objectives
  • Capture, edit and upload high-quality and on-brand content in real-time, for your portfolio of venues.
  • Monitor social media inboxes, ensuring timely responses to all messages and commentary.
  • Foster a loyal, engaged online community through proactive community management across your portfolio
  • Develop and execute social media content that supports multi-venue and/or single-venue projects, and support on new venue launches and groupwide campaigns

 

Essentials

  • Ideally 3 + years working in social media and content creation.
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or similarly fast-paced operational environments preferred.
  • Clear and confident communicator with a can-do, collaborative mindset.
  • Someone who demonstrates a proactive, accountable and hands-on approach to delivering results.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels
  • A genuine love for hospitality, lifestyle, and creating memorable brand experiences
