The Role
This is not your traditional Handyperson role. Join the world of hospitality and work across some of Sydney’s most iconic venues, where every day brings something different.
We’re looking for a full-time Handyperson to join our Facilities team, based at The Ivy complex in the CBD and supporting Merivale venues across Sydney. On any given day, you’ll respond to maintenance requests from our venues, with work spanning painting, general plumbing, furniture repair and joinery, tiling, carpentry, and general repairs.
You’ll play an important role in maintaining the presentation, functionality and overall upkeep of our properties, while also coordinating with external suppliers and contractors when required.
Ideally you have
- Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role
- A strong understanding of general building maintenance, with carpentry experience highly regarded
- A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside other trades within the maintenance team
- A current NSW driver’s licence
