Electrician | Merivale

Merivale is looking for a Licensed Electrician to join our Maintenance team on a full-time basis, working across some of Sydney’s most iconic hospitality venues, including ivy, Establishment and Coogee Pavilion.

You will be part of a hands-on maintenance team supporting a fast-paced, high-volume portfolio of restaurants, bars, pubs, hotels and event spaces. From reactive repairs and fault finding to new installations and planned maintenance, this role offers plenty of variety and the chance to step outside a traditional electrical role.

  • Work with venue teams and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and safely.
  • Manage materials, stock levels and orders required to complete works efficiently.
  • Coordinate subcontractors where required, including testing, servicing and upkeep across premises.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and ensure works are completed to standard.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades across the Maintenance department to support broader venue needs.

  • Strong testing, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of LED lighting technology.
  • Broad knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
