Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Business Process Analyst to help shape how Merivale operates across our iconic venues and head office functions. Working across business and technology transformation projects, you’ll find practical ways to simplify processes, support our teams and improve the guest experience.
Reporting to the Technology Engagement Manager, you’ll work closely with operational leaders, venue teams, Project Managers and Business Analysts to understand how things work today and design how they could work better.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and operational reviews to understand current processes, identify bottlenecks and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Design future-state processes that are practical, scalable and suited to the needs of a busy hospitality business.
- Create clear process maps, workflows, Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions that teams can easily use.
- Partner with Business Analysts and Project Managers to align system requirements and project delivery with agreed processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI and self-service that reduce manual work, duplication and cost.
- Map data flows and system handovers, highlighting integration and data quality issues that affect operations.
- Define process ownership and performance measures, working with Data & Analytics to track improvements.
- Support implementation, training and business readiness so new ways of working become part of everyday operations.
Qualifications
You’re curious, analytical and comfortable asking questions to understand what’s really happening on the ground. You can bring different perspectives together and balance consistency across the group with the practical needs of individual venues.
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in business process analysis, process improvement, continuous improvement or operational excellence.
- Strong process mapping and design skills, with knowledge of methodologies such as BPMN 2.0, Lean or Six Sigma.
