The Collaroy, situated on the northern beaches, is a breathtaking beachfront venue with a focus on family, fun, and fantastic food. We aim to show every guest the best of beach life with a seafood-focused menu upstairs and a family-friendly pizza bar downstairs.

Our goal is to make this iconic beach destination feel like home to locals, a vacation from the bustle of the city for visitors, and a place to grab a coffee before you hit the surf. 

The Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join The Collaroy as the Restaurant Manager.

We are looking for someone driven and motivated, focused on driving business performance, who can build, develop and lead a high performing team, and most importantly someone who has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences that are second to none. 

As a Restaurant Manager you will be expected to constantly look for ways to improve, bringing ideas and initiatives to the table as well as motivating and driving the venue to success.

A day in the life of a Restaurant Manager will look like:

• Having a strong focus on delivering high standards and exceptional product
• Leading from the front, ensuring your team understand what exceptional looks like everyday
• Hands-on and operational
• Understanding and owning your financials. Be a numbers person and challenge revenue driving opportunities
• Developing the skills of the staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships
• Managing day to day operations with sophistication and passion
