The Venue

Get ready to discover a little piece of the Middle East in the heart of Sydneys CBD. 

 

Our exciting new venue, Jimmys Falafel, is the ultimate twist on a traditional Lebanese eatery, with a menu inspired by all corners of the middle east, including Egypt, Israel and Lebanon. Teleport to Tel Aviv; this will be the ultimate destination to hang out, share plates and chat til late. Dont let the unique design fool you into thinking this place is like your typical takeaway shop; our open space will be split in two grab some takeaway eatery from the kiosk at the front, or make your way down to the bar for a more personalised seated dining experience offering mezze style dishes.

 

The vibe will be eclectic and energetic, just what you need if you feel like and upbeat atmosphere with traditional music flowing through your veins. We must warn you to come with an empty stomach

 

Headed up by chef Simon Zalloua, guests can enjoy a vegetarian-friendly menu with a range of flavour-packed plates and pitas, alongside plenty of legumes, vegetables and dishes from a charcoal grill. Order a round of drinks and make yourself at home, after all we are all about family, and sharing!

 

The Role

We are after an energetic, bubbly and experienced Venue Manager with a focus on creating a strong team culture, one that celebrates cultural diversity, and is passionate about creating an authentic and traditional experience for their guests.

 

Youll be expected to build, lead and develop a diverse team, maintain a culture that strives for excellence, deliver exceptional guest experience, and have fun along the way. Youll provide ongoing training to the team through product knowledge and be focused on establishing an effective operation rhythm across the venue.

 

Our team knows what it takes to deliver guest experiences like no other and with such anticipation surrounding yet another incredible development, we need managers who are:

  • Strong operators with focus on delivering high standards and exceptional product
  • Accountable for aspects of their venue's P&L
  • Hands-on and operational
  • Experts at stakeholder management
  • Responsible for developing the skills of the staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships
  • Experienced in managing large teams in a high-volume atmosphere; 2+ years in hospitality management is essential
  • Passionate and engaging with a professional can do attitude
  • Great at influencing, coaching and presenting
  • Natural aptitude to attract, engage and recruit talent to grow and nurture
