Our story

Owned and run by the Hemmes family for over 60 years, Merivale began as a fashion house that catapulted Sydney into the swinging-sixties for all thing's music and fashion. With a knack for creativity, “The House of Merivale” injected a new energy into the theatre of Sydney transforming the brand to what we know now as one of the largest leading hospitality empires in Australia.

The Role

We have a pivotal role for a Talent Partner who is ready to take ownership of 2 key critical talent segments group wide. Venue Management and Head Office roles.


This is a busy role that will see you work closely with senior management teams in venues to find and attract best-in-class leadership talent in the hospitality industry (Venue Managers, Restaurant Managers, Bar Managers etc) for our amazing existing venues such as Establishment, Mr Wong, Coogee Pavilion etc as well as for any new venue openings. For the Head Office you will be recruiting across various functions such as Finance, Marketing, Technology, HR etc.


Your success will come from quickly establishing relationships with key stakeholders, understanding our business and the nuances of recruitment across different venues and proactively managing expectations. You are a skilled recruiter with a track record in successfully utilising various channels for sourcing candidates for hard to fill roles gained in agency, RPO or an internal environment. You are pro-active, solution focused and have exceptional communication skills. Previous experience in hospitality either as a Recruiter or working in Operations is highly desirable but not essential.
