Uccello is a stunning venue located in the Ivy building - looking out onto the decadent Ivy Pool Club.  Awarded 1 Chefs Hat by the Good Food guide, this bustling 120 seat restaurant serves classic rustic Italian cuisine, with an impressive menu created and managed by our Head Chef Ben Sitton


Making most items from scratch, this kitchen is a great chance to really learn about specialty items - like olive oils and cured meats, as well as making breads & pastas. The menu is simple, elegant and delicious. 


The restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays throughout Winter- so permanent Sundays off is a bonus!
 

We're looking for a incredibly driven and motivated Sous Chef to join the Uccello team. We need someone who has a strong eye for detail and a passion for Italian flavour.

This is a key senior leadership position in the kitchen. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll have oversight to all aspects of the business including cost control, rostering, ordering, staff performance management and administration.  You will be expected to understand and influence change, growth and efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator to help drive, train & lead the team and would possess previous experience in a high-volume venue or restaurant. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a deep passion to deliver only the best dining experience and take Uccello to the next level.
