Every detail of Felix has been considered from the imported French Chandeliers, to Parisian subway tiles and beautiful pewter bar. Our intoxicating ambiance is matched by attentive service and classic French fare, delivered with precision.

 

With a produce-driven menu of honest, simple food; think chicken liver pâté, gruyere soufflé and steak frites. The seafood bar is a sight to behold-piled with prawns, oysters, lobster and Moreton bay bugs.

 

The Role

This is a great opportunity to join the established team at Felix. We are looking for a leader that can bring their maturity and management experience to this Senior Sous Chef position.

You will be joining a passionate team that is hard working, has a love for French cuisine and cooking techniques. You will be working closely with the Head Chef to develop the team, create menus and inspire a team of 20+ chefs. We are looking for someone that has experience in a fine dining or hatted venue, can hold their own in a busy service while staying professional and driven.

 

The successful chef will have good communication skills, be confident working across the kitchen and have a good understanding of French cuisine. This is a great time to join Merivale and grow your career.
