Merivale is still on the lookout for top talent to join Sydney’s best hospitality venues. We have amazing opportunities across the business at multiple levels and in all venues from our pubs to hatted restaurants. This is an exciting time to be part of the Merivale family as we continue to grow, with new openings coming online in the next few months. The Venue

Merivale’s iconic Vinnie’s Pizza can be found across multiple venues in the group, from the Northern Beaches at The Collaroy and The Newport to Coogee Pavilion in the East. Our very own pizza maestro Vincenzo Biondini serves up Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, as if straight from Italy.

Our venues are well equipped to pump out pizzas for our guests, using wood-fired ovens, fresh ingredients and hand stretch doughs to make our pizzas a cut above the rest.


The Job

We are looking for different levels of pizza chefs across some of our venues, the positions we have available are:


  • CDP Pizza Chef – Pool Club
  • CDP Pizza Chef – The Newport
  • Pizza Chefs at different levels - Coogee Pavilion
  • Pizza Cook – Pool Club


If you have the following experience, we want to hear from you!


  • 1-2 years’ experience as a pizza chef or pizza cook
  • Proficient working with an electric or wood-fired oven
  • Creating Neapolitan style pizzas from scratch including hand stretching the dough.
  • Great communication and a team player
  • Professional with a good attitude and attention to detail
  • Well-presented and comfortable working in an alfresco kitchen
