The Role

Come work across our Northern Beaches portfolio including some of Sydney's most iconic restaurants and bars, The Newport, Bert's, and The Collaroy. We have an exciting opportunity for a Gardening Supervisor to join our horticultural team and help deliver day to day horticulture operations and to identify and communicate continual improvements in operational procedures.

 

You will be responsible for effective people practices such as recruitment, onboarding, performance, and employee engagement for your direct team, and will be accountable for venue styling and management of all horticulture programs relating to the care and upkeep of indoor plants, trees, outdoor container plants, and garden beds.

 

About You:

  • 3+ years experience in the horticulture industry; trade certification in horticulture is highly advantageous as well as current chemical application accreditation 
  • Current full driver’s license & confidence driving across multiple Sydney locations & operation of Long Wheel Base van
  • Be truly passionate about plants and gardening and have a keen eye for design/visual styling
  • Be prepared for heavy lifting and manual labour and are comfortable working at heights, with harness work involved, previous experience is highly advantageous.
  • Your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be strong, and you will possess excellent time management and organisational skills. Previous leadership experience is also a necessity.
