Junior Sous Chef | Ivy Events

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Junior Sous or Sous Chef to join the team; cocktail parties, food installations, buffets, private dinner parties, breakfast functions; you name it, we’ll do it.

Your day could be 15 events running simultaneously, with various locations offering a variety of menus.

As Junior/ Sous Chef, you will be playing a key part in overseeing all prep and cooking, dealing with suppliers, coordinating with FOH Managers and Head Office, choreographing plate-up, keeping on top of consistency, assist with staff performance and training, succession planning of staff within the kitchen, food costing and quality control. This is a high energy, action packed role and we need you to be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of that day, week or month. No two days will ever be the same in this team!

We’re looking for someone from an events or catering background, that has a solid understanding of large scale events logistics and delivery.
