The Venue

Located on a laneway in the middle of Sydney’s CBD, Ash St. Cellar has everything to make a breakfast meeting, lunch catch-up or candlelit dinner, extra special. The menu is European-inspired tapas with French, Italian and Spanish influences at this modern-style bistro. Ash St. Cellar has everything you love about European dining; the food, wine and the passing parade.

 

The Role

We are on the hunt for a Head Chef to bring their creative flair and style to this popular Ivy venue, good food and wine are at the heart of the alfresco dining experience. Working alongside Exec Chef Nathan Johnson, you will collaborate on menu development and will have a strong influence on the menu and what produce is used.

Part of this role will involve the over-sight, product accountability and management of production chefs for Will & Co, the Merivale coffee shop at the top of Palings Lane. This role would suit someone that enjoys working in a smaller restaurant or wine bar and is hands on in the kitchen. We are looking for someone that has had overall experience managing a kitchen, including costings, creating, leading a team, and following P&L’s. This is a Monday to Friday, hands on Head Chef position.
