The Venue


Merivale has just launched its most ambitious projects to date within the walls of the iconic beach-side venue, Coogee Pavilion. With this new development comes an incredible opportunity to be part of the family!

Coogee Pav middle floor boasts 3 different options, will’s Cocktail Bar, Una Mas tapas wine bar and mimi’s dining room, that looks like it’s been plucked straight off the European coastline. Each venue will have its own unique identity, creating exceptional food and drinks and unforgettable experiences, right on the doorstep of Coogee’s sun-soaked coastline.

We are on the lookout for chefs to join us in this exciting, multi-faceted, gastronomic journey. The venues are high end, with open concept kitchens, offering an interactive guest dining experience. The next lucky chefs will get a chance to play in the brand-new kitchen, which will be equipped with all the latest mod cons. The menu will be inspired by the best seasonal and local produce, pulling on flavours from the Med and Europe, with an interior to match.




We are looking for the following:


  • 2+ years of experience in the relevant positions
  • Experience in Hatted or fine dining restaurants
  • Organised, well presented and professional
  • Eager to learn and with a passion for good food
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
  • A great attitude and work ethic
