The Venue

The Collaroy, situated in the northern beaches, is a breathtaking beach front venue with a focus on family, fun and fantastic food. We aim to show every guest the best of beach life with a seafood focused menu upstairs and family friendly pizza bar downstairs. The Role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll own the delivery of an exceptional dining experience, work closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead a team of experienced wait staff, and are accountable for training and up-skilling the wider team around premium product and service. You’ll manage day to day operations of the restaurant and ensure each guest has an exceptional dining experience. 

You’ll have the chance to develop and lead a world-class team that delivers nothing short of excellence. Additionally, your attention to detail is second to none, you'll show initiative, be focussed and always own the result.


To be successful in this role you will have:


  • 2+ years experience in a high volume business holding an ASM role or working as a RM in a smaller venue
  • Experience working with wine as well as a good understanding off all beverages is preferential
  • You will be guest focussed and willing to spend time to develop and train new and existing staff of different capabilities
  • Enjoy a hands on management style and are passionate about ensuring consistency are preferential
  • Working in collaboration with all team members is essential
